The Power of a Dream

Dreaming is wishing Hoping for a better life A life that no one expects A dream without a wish is just a plan For one that expects is not a wish Dreaming can be forever Working till the end of day On a dream that can live on forever For one does not know if this dream is going to come true Dreaming could lead you to destiny A destiny that is forever thought about A life that has never been seen before For your dream could become a reality The possibilities are endless until someone take that dream and crushes it right in front of you. Endless hours and years of work all to be criticized and ridiculed For this person once gave me a chance and I took that chance to show them my all The feeling of not being good enough was more then I felt For I dreamed a dream that I thought I could make into a reality In reality they were just greedy and just wanted money Money one like me does not have For ones greed they told me they give me a chance A chance that was never to become a reality A dream I dreamed so long that in my eyes was possible Adults always tell you to not give up on your dreams But to me it was the end Until one said something wise "A dreamer will have many obstacles in her life but the thing that makes her a dreamer is that she gets right back up on her feet and never gives up!" For I am that dreamer that will not be criticized and ridiculed by one that is greedy For I will follow my dreams to prove that I can be successful no matter what state I'm in For I will be the one that proves the them wrong I will find someone who supports my dream The efforts I make in the studio Me alone with a bare and a wooden floor For I am one powerful dreamer!
