The Power of Friendship

Friendship is like a seed,

That will bloom in the spring.

Unexpected, yet precious,

not knowing how much joy it will bring.

The seed will grow,

After years and years,

But only if it’s cared for and loved,

Amongst anger and tears.

There will be altercations,

And times when you doubt the phrase, “Best friends forever,”

But just like a tree that burns down from a fire,

True friendship will bloom again, stronger than ever.

Because true friendship will endure the hardships,

There’s none that’s too vast,

People come and go all the time,

But best friends will last.
