The Power of Healing through Writing

Everyone has their outlet,

to let them express how they feel.

Whether it's through family, friends, or teachers

they have someone to trust, to help them heal.

But there is a difference between me and the rest

because I find writing to be the best.

To put my pen to the paper

and write for the entire day,

turn my feelings into stories,

by sharing with others and giving them away.

Sharing my experience with others, maybe to make them feel better,

let them escape from reality

and give them a place of adventure.

Escape to another world where they wish they can be

whether there are pirates, spaceships, or vampires

they can be where they have always dreamed.

Knowing that I am the one that makes them happy

is the reason that I write.

To help push others through another day

so that they see every morning and night.
