The Power of Help
I've journeyed so far.
To heal this scare.
Not just the scars that cover the skin,
but the ones deep within.
The ones that keep you up at night,
causing that fright.
That fright that brings on those nightmares,
that rip and tear,
that you cannot bear.
That make it feel like no one cares.
But at the deepest, darkest hour,
you have to remember our power.
The power of love.
Something that is clearly a gift from above.
The power of understanding.
Something that makes you feel truly outstanding.
The human mind.
A thing that cannot be defined.
It aims to comfort.
With hopes of receiving the same when in discomfort.
So when at your lowest,
do not be the slowest
to ask for help.
