The Power of Innocent and Passionate Love
Dear Michael,
Your mind dances to the beat of mine,
Your heart sings ever so gently.
Mesmerized by the way those pearly whites shine,
Your voice so angelic, I listen intently.
Your presence encompasses my heart,
it fills me with emotions I cannot fathom.
The complexity of our interactions is a work of art,
Much like electrons and positrons found in an atom.
Even the mundanity of days is an adventure with you,
And joyful experiences are sure of the plenty.
Whether planned or spontaneous, we always make do.
It’s unbelievable we’re embarking on so many!
I thank the universe for what it has given me,
Someone whose understanding despite my flaws.
Grateful my wish has come true back in Joshua Tree.
And now our fire grows as strong as that of Ra’s.
When I listen to the rhythm of our melodies,
Clearly strong on their own, but invincible when in sync.
Even bystanders around take notice of the beauty of our serenity.
My song now feels complete thanks to you, my missing key.
When I’m with you everything in life seems so natural,
Yet this journey rides cruise control and our actions on automatic
Feelings that keep intensifying ever so gradual,
And completely entangled by the way you’re so charismatic.
You take my heart and mind to novel destinations.
Places that transform the pain and doubt from deep within,
Supersedes it with otherworldly vibrations
It reflects ever so clearly every time I grin.
Your happiness is of the utmost importance,
For which I strive to bring you day and night
It seems that even our souls are in full concordance.
I can see it in your aura, one which shines so bright!
I find delight in the creative flows that which we share,
And enables us to escape on a wondrous getaway.
A place to go in the face of any nightmare
Somewhere magical and away from what might dismay.
Lastly, I must thank you for everything that you offer me.
Your personality resembles that of the ocean.
You bring a sense of calmness better than anybody,
And to make you proud will always be my devotion.
Sincerely,
Ricky Pineapple
