The Power of Law

The power of law

A judge sitting in front of a court room

A man on trial from a prior conviction

A conviction that was wrong.

The man was trying to save her life

But instead was the one put in jail

The officers did not know if was someone else

Someone else who killed her.

The lawyer stands there

Giving all of her facts

Telling everyone that there is clear evidence

He did not do it.

Minutes pass by

Contemplation and spectulation across the room.

5, 4, 3, 2, 1

He is free.

No more time in jail for the wrongfully convicted man.
