  Love, what is it?
Is it a flower that nascents in the night?
Or, is it an emotion that you just must commit?
Love oh love, is like an airship on flight.

  Love, what is it?
When i was younge and ignorant I experienced love.
Love burned its way into my heart like
A screaming meator burns its way into
  The atmosphere.

  Love, what is it?
My love was tested, when i was drafted.
Every second of every day and night,
I thought of the glistering waters and sand
On my feet with you by my side.
Your perpetual beauty is the only
Reason why i never gave up the fight.
Even when the bombs from mortars
Decended from Heaven to rain hell,
  I still fight.

Even when the guns went bang,
  Bombs went boom,
  And soldiers went splat,
  I still fight.

Even when the fire ran wild
  And the wind howled,
  I still fight.

I was affraid my heart would become a stone,
But my fears flew away when i heard that we were comming home.

My love for you now has surpassed my love for you before.
My love was strengthened and forged in the crucible of war.
