The Power of Memory

Location

It's funny how we remember what we don't want to

While things worth remembering are easily forgotten

I try and forget, I really do

But those memories seem to be stuck like glue

If I could change a thing within myself

I'd have the ability to lose them

I would put them on the back shelf

And never feel the bruise from them
