Power to the misfits

She was never the popular person.
She stayed to herself and did her work.
She had a few friends who understood her for her.
She had dreams of becoming big and being nothing like her parents.

He was never a peopular person.
He stayed to himself and focused on his dreams.
He had friends he loved and cherished and laughed with everyday.
He watched the others in his class as they ranted about $500 dollar items and shoes.

They were misfits.
They were happy that way.
They were surrounded by people who loved them
and by people who cared.
They watched the world as it bustled and carried on.
They saw the flaws that no one else saw, but they didn't speak,
not of that.
