The Power of More
What makes a person feel whole
Is not love
Not happiness
Not peace
It is simply “more”
Disrupting the equilibrium of life
To obtain what is not theirs
All in hopes for “more”
More land
More wealth
More power
In the grand scheme they mean nothing
Yet a tainted mind will depict
“More” as the purpose of life
And to get it, is priceless
A blood red dollar
Sand with ancestry underneath
A man who stands tall
As long as he stands on those
Who are on fragile knees
Begging for purpose
Only to be brought with
What “more” has to offer
