The Power of my Mind

I'm steady wondering why the silence is so loud,

The voiceless conscience in my ear that speaks more than my mouth,

Too busy trying to hide the the plastic smiles and denials that are plastered deep on my face and the pit of my gut,

Too many doors are closing, trying to shut

Leaving me stranded. Send out an S.O.S because I'm going down,

Ended up worthless, left in the lost and found.

My mind is speaking out, yelling and screaming for a sloution,

But I hear nothingness, it's only right, no Constitution.

Left to myself, my own worst enemy,

Blinded by my own bad choices I can't see anything.

Trying to convince myself, knowing I'm only bluffin',

The reason it's oh so quiet is because I'm not saying nothin'.
