The Power of My Voice

My voice cracks under pressure,
But my words yearn for it.
My voice whispers through the crowd,
But my words yell through the paper.
I may not always have a say,
But the pen and paper,
Lets me express it any way.
People judge me for my looks,
However pen and paper are blind.
Every time I get hurt,
my heart begins to race,
and try and reach its normal place.
The one there used to be,
when me and my words are the perfect match.
