The Power of One
I live, I breathe, and I walk just like this.
Life seems so simple, yet plain and unreal.
So hard to see that there’s something I miss,
At times have to wonder, what do I feel?
The power of one is not understood.
Each step and each word can change someone’s dream.
Carvings that comes from a small block of wood;
As simple, complex, perfect as you deem
Hero, not quite, but a person, a friend
Has now come to me and opened my heart.
The promise, I see, this can’t be the end.
Au contraire! Not there yet, this is a start!
One person to serve, to love, and to live
The power of one – it’s my turn to give
