Power On/Power Off

The setting

How do I turn it

OFF

When we're all so used to being

ON

The LED screen burns bright blue into strained eyes

I don't count the hours anymore because then I could

Quantify

How much of my life passes as I scroll page

after

30 pages x 3 chapters x 5 days =

Divided by?

They say I should stop planning as much

Each 30 minute block of a

twenty-four (24) hour day

doesn't need a

Label

But if I spend more time planning and less time doing

Then maybe this is where I achieve my CTRL

And ALT between work and life to achieve balance

Schedule in 15 minutes of nothingness

Making sure to DEL the busyness

So here I am, the first week of summer break, and I am finally

Off.

…

Rebooting…
