Power of the Pen
Being a poet isn’t just about making words rhyme.
It's about making the most out of a limited amount of time.
A poet doesn’t just throw random words on a page.
A poet is a healer, something like sage.
Poetry has many forms; Rage, sadness, glory, and psycho.
Poetry can end a war with only words as its ammo.
The words of pain turn to passion through lyrics.
People around the world will travel to hear it.
You speak the truth about life and it helps you think clearer.
It helps you learn to love the person in the mirror.
Poetry can save the world, it only needs one chance.
It teaches you not to judge a person at the first glance.
Less judgment equals more peace, and with peace comes serenity.
Poetry is an silent healer, an amazing entity.
It releases feelings of love, hope, and unity.
Poetry is mysterious. It creates certain immunity.
Immune to hate. Immune to fear.
Immune to evil. Immune to tears.
I'm a poet. I don’t just write.
I fight.
I live poetry. I breathe poetry.
If I didn't have it there'd be a gaping hole in me.
It's a rare medicinal drug that is so exotic
Only the true poets are sane, the rest are chaotic.
