Power of Pen

thoughts collide

a jolt in the hands

knuckles spark like flint

A pen scrawls

and readers bawl

on paper fresh like mint

In a storm of peace

and the draining world

you'd think they'd take a hint,

so the only way

to erase the gray

is to create in their minds a dint
