The power of the pen

The once was a little boy

His heart was devoid of joy

For he was fighting a war at home

His father would beat him to the bone

So that young boy picked up a mighty sword

To fight his battle with an amazing word

The word from his soul which he stabbed into the pad

To express to the world how he feels about his dad

His father wasn't a bad man

He tried hard as hard as he can

But the tries were too much for the young boy

Rather than building him up he was getting destroyed

That young boy found a way to escape

His pen made him feel like he was wearing a cape

Because the power that writing gave that boy is super

His heart sailed from the hell on Earth to Jupiter

If you choose writing can be a great ploy

To save you like it saved that little boy
