The Power of Poetry

In the most splendid moments , we experience short bursts of genius that allow us to recreate our lives with words. In our most beautiful moments, we are allowed the ability to write the fondest treasures from the heart, That sing of love and acceptance and peace. In our less desirable moments, we are granted the will to recreate our feelings of loss and hurt and disappointment with a simple stroke of a pen. If given a choice, between powers of course, I'm pretty sure many would pick mind control or invisibility, But I would pick the power of poetry, Simply because when my mind becomes an empty blackboard, poetry is the only piece of chalk worth scribbling on it.
