When I write poetry I get a better understanding of myself
It brings out how I truly feel from deep inside
There's history in poetry
Stories untold
Poetry helps them come alive
Stories begin to unfold
People start to understand
Passion and sorrow in different forms
As we read between the lines
We understand
We understand the power of poetry.
