Power Of Poetry (Haikus)

By Gwendolyn Smith (:

Power Of Poetry (Haikus):

Poetry taught me

To just be open and free

With my emotions

Poetry made me

Reflect on my surroundings

And understand others

My favorite poem

Was I too by Langston Hughes

It gave me insight

Poems have power

They help people connect their thoughts

And make it artwork

Poems ask for help

Poems can be their own person

I will always love poems
