The Power of Prose?

Earth is a Terrifying Malevolent Place.

Violence, Hatred, and Tension induce abuse across an axis;

From physical to emotional to global

Ranging from Nuclear threats to littering

Humanity seeps slowly into a bleak drain:

A drain collecting all of the abhorrent practices that have been abolished.

Humanity exercised judgment at one time.

The ability to banish social and racial prejudice

Animated the minds of King, Lincoln and Clemens.

For this we praise briefly

And moments later discriminate.

These men believed in equality

And as soon as other succeed the feeling will become as infectious as the hostility that plagues society.

However,

Humanity wilts.

The plant battles a drought of aggressive, thrashing rays.

Without Water, it will not survive.

If Prose relays anything, let it forewarn.

Even Cacti reach limits.
