The Power Of Theatre

As I look at my lines, and the people around me

I ask myself

"What inspires me?"

As I look down the empty isles at the empty chairs

I ask myself,

"What inpsires me?"

When I'm in the same place, with the same people for months

I ask myself,

"What inspires me?"

When I look up at the lights and behind me at the curtains

I ask myself,

"What inpsires me?"

When I look into the crowd and see my parents smiling faces

I still ask myself,

"What inspires me?"

But when the light fades

And the curtain closes

And I take my last bow

I remember

That this is what inspires me
