Power of the Tongue and Mind

Life and Death is in the power of the tongue/

Proverbs 18:21 was where that first line came from/

We were granted the gift of choice/

But ye we still choose communicate verbal poison using the weapon of voice,

To choose to utter words of negativity,

You are choosing to condemn yourself.

You are choosing to defeat yourself mentally,

You have subconsciously set your success to the bottom shelf.

The caliber of power in which the dialect of your speech impales the mind

Is extravagant, catastrophic; Cataclysmic is the power to have your thoughts realigned.

To think that we have such power and not know how to use it

To know we are experts of how to abuse it.

We continue to reuse the mustard gas of dialogue

But yet if we were on the receiving end we ask why with our tongues dry.

Now vision starts to fail because of the thick contaminated fog.

To speak with intelligence, elegance and articulation is the Armageddon of ignorance.

To fight with words works more effectively than to with fists.

To win physically is primitive but to win mentally shows genius in which the mind and tongue exists

Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me,

Yet those same words were the ones getting you to throw to stones of judgment.

Those same words enter the ear and then make there way into the heart covertly.

The Power of the tongue is immense that sometimes it doesn’t make sense

But if used in the right mindset it could be the most powerful tool to your success.

I choose to thank god for the gift he bestowed on me…I’m Blessed

To take this blessing for granted is what happens everyday

The difference me and the world…

I choose not to get caught up in the it’s deceitful silver tongue word play.
