The Power of Why

Why?

A word we watch go by

Like the Catcher and the Rye, we are left to ask why?

As we approach death,

must we ask why we must die

If we must read shakespeare

Then do not lie, you know you asked why?

This is the power in why

Don't simply sigh

And do not try to pry

Here is the power of why

WHY must we die

WHY do we lie

WHY do we ask why

We use why because we try

to understaind the ends which are nigh

We ends of our eyes

the ends of our thighs

the ends of our times

the ends of our rhymes

that is why we ask why, to understand Why.
