The Power of the Word

My word is not bounded by pages

it is unsheathed,like swords.

My word could destroy the mightiest of cages,

inside the heart shielded by boards.

It leaps across the room with speed,

ripping through different moods.

Its rides around the named, bravery

and it slays the monster with power of knowledge.

My word has no power without knowledge,

without it,tis nothing but letters of misunderstanding.

So I feed it daily with the food of learning,

letting my word grow stronger,daily.

Others fear my word.due to its size and mechanics,

They wish to silence the almighty.

But they cannot, due to its tools.

My word uses tools named fear and ability to help sustain itself.

Fear helps my word keep up with its appearance,

It does not let it wither away or lose its luster.

Ability helps my word show its worth,

It increases its cost, twice its ability.

My word is almighty, and it is powerful,

it has the means to destroy.

It wishes to cause those without power, destruction

Although, there is one way for it lose.

One word will make mine run from the battle.

It will make my word lose its power and to eat the fear.

One word will cause my word to board itself up in my heart,

The one word that does not destroy love, but creates it.
