Painted pictures created in the mind the words brought, Taking a journey to places and times you have never been. A language of old writ and kept through the ages of times, Some in a rhythm and some done in rhyme. Always a dilemma that relates to life, Teaching a moral behind the character’s strife. Transported into another place, another era, Filled with buggies, duels, heroes and drama. Simplier times compared to ours, But still, the same obstacles as we encounter today. Old ways of older times lives on in the literature we read, Impacting us, teaching us and leaving us new perspectives to heed.
