Power of Words

The tattoos on my body are words.

Read me like a novel, my body tells the story.

Graze your fingers over the text, you'll see what will come next.

The tattoo on my body signifies loyalty.

Because it is an important quality.

A quality I demand, to understand me, you must be in my mind.

Even then, you probably won't survive.

The maze in my mind leads me in circles,

the only therapy I get is through the transation to words.

Not letters that are simply black and white, that hold no image,

but through the majestic power of words.

Words that will spin circles around your thoughts like the snake-charmer.

Be careful, do not get seduced.

The tattoos on my body keep me rooted, grounded.

So, I myself, do not get lost in the romance of my own mind.

Although my writing may be morbid sometimes, which author or poet doesn't get like that sometimes. I am a naturally very energy-sensitive individual and really only get therapy and release from writing those random thoughts that begin to stir in my mind.
