Power of Words

Words. Flowing, shaping, ebbing, changing.

Coming in and out of my mind;

Giving a voice to nameless feelings.

The reason for writing is

The same as for breathing:

I need it to live.

Just like breaths can be controlled,

Expressed in different ways,

Poetry can add variety, color, spice

To an otherwise bland life.

So write the words that come,

Don’t bury them inside.

Let the art flow from you

To add beauty to this life.
