The Power of You

You helped me

you groomed me

you showed me

you taught me

that I contain more than what others have told me.

You gave me a peace of willingness to be vunerable

As my soft  blue fine point pen touched the pale white

blank paper, which also gave me a sense of understanding.

An understanding that will always be with me.

You helped me see that my slience is dangerous and my voice is powerful.

You showed me that  love is needed and hate is not

and you groomed me to see that vunerability is beauty.

The power of you is now put fourth in me.
