Power of your Presence - 12/28/15
Since the day you passed away, everything has turned gray.
I remember hearing your laughs that normally comforted me throughout out all my days. Seeing your smile, let me know you were so very proud of the young man I was becoming
But now all I see are dark clouds that form at the eye of a thunderstorm that rages like a lion going after its prey.
Which brings me back to that oh so awful day…
These Clouds try to blur my vision of our days. But I fight back and reminisce on our past, our memories that could never be rewritten.
Slowly again memories of that morning creeps back in…
Then I end up crying so fast, like a newborn baby that speaks no words, crying profusely looking for its Mother.
Then I hear you say, “Wipe those tears son, I’m OK and I love you dearly.”
Your loving-caring attitude could never go away, you gave me a spark in each & every way. The POWER of your presence was ardent. This is something that sticks with me ALWAYS!
This bond we have is unbroken, but now I’m just left unspoken. Hoping to become fearless, doting, courageous, and supportive as you were in your last days. Dad, until I see you again I will just keep praying…
I will always look to the Heavens to tell you, how much I Love You
