Power Of a yOuth

Power was given to all according to the depth of their will.

So That the strong willed can say,

Where there is a will there will always be a way.

As youthful as I am I know that chilling is only killing time

Those who kill time will be killed by time

Those who treasure time will be treasured by time

Fame is only for the name immortalized by great works

Shame is not only for the lame who wasted their time

Chilling, smoking, drinking, fucking killing their health

The wealthy stay healthy thats true prosperity.

The hour will come when chilling will be all that you will be able to do.

That power will not be found in aching bones nor in the ugliness of your wrinkled skin

But it will remain in your offsprings, your works, your deeds.

As it turns grey let go of the fray embrace true bliss from resting.

All vitality and virility gone what's left is nesting.

Rest is assured if you utilized youth

Restlessness is found

If you wasted

Youth.

Ever since I learnt how to write I never stopped writing short stories, poems and ideas. I am from Africa living in South Africa, Joburg. I am a business man with a love for music and writing. Its lovely how a poem can be turned into a song. Rhythm and Words are my closest friends. I respect The Sound of Life and the power in following your Heart which makes Music till the day you die.

I really like this. I like the fact that you give it as it is. I couldn't write something like this if my life depende on it ( even though they say I could but I know that that's bullshit). This has just became a favorite of mine. Great job.
