Powerful Women

I see it in the everyday women who walk the street

I am inspired by all - the way the little lady hauls around those groceries,

to the way the new mom calms her baby. I see inspiration in the young, beautiful

black girl who takes on a daring hairstyle - the girl doing what's "meant for boys"

Inspiration comes when I see girls like me -just a child- fighting for justice

All of the powerful women around me, in my everyday life and beyond

Inspire me to do great things- just like them

Powerful Women- without them

We would be nothing

I see it in the everyday women walking the street
