Powerless

Surrounded by bitterness,

Engulfed by hate,

If I had a wish,

I'd change my fate,

The time goes past,

As I deepen these scars,

One day at last,

I'll be in the stars.

Hidden in pain,

Written in the seams,

Are stories untold,

of a young girls dreams,

The scars on her skin,

They tell the whole truth,

A battle she couldn't win,

A fight she couldn't soothe.

Upon one day,

She lie in the stars,

Remembering memories,

Of how she got those scars,

The reasons why,

Remain unknown,

Inside a girl,

Who feels alone.
