Pray?

Lord what can I say
When I pray to you
What words can I speak
What should my hands do?

What must I do first
Be humble or praise?
I'll worship without
My pride in the way

O Lord clean my hands
Wash my heart purely
I can't stand my sin
Scrub me inwardly

I'll lay in the floor
If you call me to
I'll flee from myself:
Surrender to you

To you I'll give thanks
I deserve not your love
Yet holy you sent
Your son from above

And now in my shame
I watch as my sin
Is burned with your blood
And I'm cleansed within
