Prayer

I can't be forgiven nor find the joy I seek,
Or a reason for living.
There's a hole in my heart,
That needs filling.
And a great big part,
That needs some healing.

I know I said I didn't need love
Didn't need people...
But Ive realized I do need what's above.

The pain I feel will never leave
The tears I cry will never dry
Without the big guy in the sky.

Take me to the church and steeple
And to the place with all the smiling people.
I need prayer, I need love,
I do need what's above.

And that's the God with the heart full of endless love
