Prayer
An animal cannot
Speak because
Animals are in
Constant prayer
They pray with the flora, the waters, the winds, the fires
And Mother Earth
They pray to purify the land, to stem the weeping tears, to pour
Love into the world
They pray for our compassion and our protection
Our voices
An animal cannot
Speak because
Animals are in
Constant prayer
