A Prayer for Forgiveness

Dear heavenly Father,

I bow my head today

to ask for your forgiveness

for the sins I've done today.

I admit that I've shown envy

and I've used your name in vain.

I have ridiculed my peers

and shown hatred all the same.

I thank you for your gifts,

especially Jesus Christ.

I ask for your divine guidance,

or I may suffer at my device.

I beg for your aid and assistance

so my sins may meet an end.

And I end this prayer with gratitude,

in the Lord's name; amen.
