A Prayer, Friend

Tarnished silver,

rusted gold.

Leaking spirit near, I'm told.

A pearly past

 crushed at the feet.

Laughing from its fallen seat.

I need you

 to be Okay.

please stay on this earth today

Song of loss,

 chest of glass.

Someday soon the gates shall crash.

But till then

 a cup will do.

A cup of love from me to you.
