A prayer for hope

My eyes are stained with the never ending tears of the cry and plead for peace and justice. This world is so cold the judgement, the jealousy, the pain, the lies, the deaths with all of these it's no wonder why so many hearts can not bare to keep on beating.

My heart goes out to those who work nine to five just to make ends meet with no one by your side to help and your kids being the only reason for your inspiration. It breaks my heart to see how cruel people who have everything and more to those who don't have anything.

Until there comes a time of true peace and love my heart and soul never rest, my eyes shall never stop building oceans, and my lips will never stop shouting for peace and justice. This is a little prayer of peace. I pray for the children who are forced to realize that the real monsters are truly not the ones under the bed or in the closet. I pray for the ones who took their life for their sexuality or a bully said one insult too many. I pray for the ones who lost their lives at a too early age due to a violent act may their souls rest peacefully for now although their tales may not be known to those who are living God knows and he will punish the guilty ones as he sees just. I pray for a better world of peace, love, and understanding.

AngelOfWinter

I'm just a town small girl from with nothing but big dreams and a giant heart. Poetry is my life and being a poet is more than just about writing or expressing my feelings it's more about translating a story. Stay beautifully strong, angels <3
