A Prayer To My Daughter Princess
(poems go here) A Prayer For My Daughter Princess, by Esther "Esty" Pagan 7/17/08
My daughter princess, that's what you are to me...
I tried my ever most to love, cherish & protect,
but all the demons from around us tainted, they tainted me, than they tainted you.
As a mother I feel guilty, I feel demeaned, I feel conquered,
by blank darkness-
I don't, I didn't, I couldn't know where to go...
I didn't have a mother, you see,
she turned her face on me, you know!
I felt so alone, as I most times do,
what, what, is a mother truly to do?
I tried, I tried, I did try my best
But what is one to do, when you are just the black sheep of the family?
As a mother forgive me my daughter, for I let you down.
I've tried to make it up to you, but you too,
have pained me with your anger, making my life upside down.
I get lost, I feel humiliated...
Cause it's not within me to let demons take me over.
All the pain and anguish has made me fight back, I truly want to win you back from those demons that have taken you away, to that ugly place I call nowhere
I want you back as my daughter princess.
Please come back to me, I love you, I bore you, I am your mother
Come back to me please, come back,
my heart awaits you to come back someday.
My daughter princess, that's what you are to me, no matter what people say.
You will always be the apple of my eye.
My daughter princess, keep your beauty alive & shake off that demon taintness as I have learned to do.
My daughter princess, find your happiness & always keep that beauty of a princess, my sweet daughter, keep it for you.
