A PRAYER FROM MY HEART
O’ Lord I pray to thee
and ask why you have forsaken me?
I have prayed so many times to you,
but it seems as though our family is stagnant
why must we struggle?
When those whom do not live righteously excel?
They enjoy the riches of this world
Whilst I am working hard for a paycheck
Day in-and day out
I do as you asked of me,
I try to live righteously
Although it seems as I reap no reward
I still follow through
One thing I have noticed Father
Is that money does not interest you, not in the slightest
You enrich me with talents
Even I do not know what they are
I am just grateful to be in the position of where I am now
To be honest I do not know what plans You have for me,
All I know is that I trust thee
O’ Lord today I have come to say thank you,
Thank you that I have food to eat every day.
I see so many people on the streets looking for food in dustbins…
Just to have enough energy throughout the day
I am thankful for my health
I had so many medical challenges in my life and I am glad that with your help,
I was able to overcome them
I thank you Lord for being the anchor in my life
Without you I would have been lost
So many live life without loving you God
I am sorry I cannot rip these people away from the devil’s clutches
But could you please give them another chance?
A second wind in life, so that they can accept the Lord, Jesus Christ as their savior.
So that they too can see paradise.
I know it is not easy to walk in the footsteps of our master, Jesus Christ
Even I have had my many stumbles throughout life
But be lenient towards them for the world is full of non- believers
Not to mention false prophets who call themselves pastors.
I think you know that already,
And I know that you work on your own time
So I am grateful to have had this conversation with you
So I know you will answer to my prayers in due time
Thank you heavenly father, Amen
LIVE WELL AND DIE OLD
