Prayer Sonnet

Denying your presence is known today

Your blood and body keeping us going

Seems people are praising every Sunday

Although looks like thoughts haven't been flowing

Many think you're a prophet or a fake

As well as even a story to tell

But they don't know that their heartaches you'll take

And their live's will be easier to dwell

Fluctuating every moment I live

I learn to go on and never forgo

As far as the day we will meet again

Your litanies I will never let go

No one will accept, but you changed my life

I'll never deny you, Lord Jesus Christ.
