Prayers
Dear Lord,
I know that I dont talk to you often,
This cold world has steered me on a dark road,
And it feels as if,
I just keep walking.
I know you've noticed I don't go to chruch nomore.
I still pray to you,
And when we talk its personal.
You've shown me the real from the fake,
So I know alot of people don't love me,
And I curve them all.
I know alot of people want to see me down and bad.
I know they wanna see me shattered,
Looking like my life does not even matter.
I can hear the pain form my past
In the back of my head,
Screaming at me like
"The devil's going to make you a bed!",
But Lord I heard you saying,
"Dont let the woes of the world ever get to your head.",
The pain that I've felt, is really what I have bled.
The pain of losing freinds left and right.
Wondering if I myself, can lay down and sleep in peace tonight.
'Cause every turn I take it feels like the devil is trying snatch my life.
Now I always stay to my self,
All this pain I feel,
I guess it is just devil playing his games.
My brother always told me that this world,
It is the devil's domain,
And that I should never let him take me out of my lane.
Though it gets really hard when you can't talk to noone.
I mean, I cant even talk to my mother,
'Cause the bottles just make her stutter.
All the nights that I've cried,
You can see that pain,
If you look deep in my eyes,
All I do everyday,
Is try to keep the demons inside,
'Cause they are trying to arise.
Lord I hope you here my cries,
I need prayers,
Lord I hope you here me,
I need prayers.
