Prayers for California

~Prayers for California~
Fires rage through the trees
wiping out some of the counties.
The people and the animals
running for their lives.
Being stripped of their bounties
and surly they’re deprived
of their homes in the mountains
just hoping to survive.
I am praying for rain
so the earth can regain
all the moisture it needs
to be nourished.
I know Mother Nature will revive
and come back to her life
and the land will soon again flourish.
