Praying For Him

Is his chance gone, please don't let it be Lord, I ask You hear this prayer from me I don't know what to do, I don't know what to say But I try to point him to You everyday I feel his heart, I see his light I pray that maybe one day he might Give it all to You and find new life My heart is breaking, its killing me Open up his eyes, please Lord, and make him see He doesn't want to know You but how can I let him die? The only efforts being made for him are mine I can't give up on him, I love him in my heart Lord, I pray You give him a brand new start Lord, down here on the floor I plead Hold him close and tell him he Is Your son and You are his Father And he doesn't have to be alone for any longer That he has wronged but You forgive And through it all You never stopped loving him Because You loved us first even though we sinned Lord, please take his soul and make it clean And do for him the same things You have done for me I don't understand how he lives with his pain When You can wash it all away like rain Lord, be his strength he's feeling weak Bring him to repentance on his knees And supply for him his every need Lord, please hear this desperate plea Open up his heart and speak to him Your love And on him descend Lord, like a peaceful dove.
