praying mama
every dawn of the seventh day
uphill she starts from the cabin we stay
at the peak by the road where it lay
a house it stood all serene and gay
by the corner on the white tiles
down on her knees she tries
for me the Lord to beseech she cries
and thus they were pardoned my lies
now am in love with the pillar
also with the guy who does the guitar
life has ceased to be bitter
cause mama ain't stop saying a prayer
