Praying in the Pit

Praying in the Pit

When my feelings are out of control raging like a flood
I must remember instantly the sacrificed blood

Praying in the pits of life, when it’s filled with pain
In our pits in His presence we must remain

In these times and areas, when healing and restoration is a must
Regardless of what we see or feel in God continued trust

God, Jonah tried to hide from you
He tried to avoid what you asked him to do

How many times our disobedience landed us in a pit
Than like Jonah we begin to pray because we can’t survive without it

Prayers of the righteous availeth much
During these pits of life we receives God precious touch

Lord, why are we in pits different life’s seasons
Reminds us God is loving displays His faithfulness is a reason
