Prediction
The gypsy read my hand
She said times were bad
I laughed nervously
Too scared to make her stop.
She said drink this tea
So I can read your leaves.
I drank the liquid with my lips
The flavor was bittersweet.
I looked inside the cup
Saw a shape or too
But the gypsy said
It was the sun and the moon.
I asked her what it meant
She said I don’t know,
That will be three dollars
My next customer is at the door.
