Prejudging

People prejudge me before I even speak. I feel the hands recoiling from me. I feel the atmosphere of emotions change around me. Who wants to be friends? Nobody? They are all too scared to approach me. I feel the loneliness pelting at my brain. I feel the whispers around me; The stares burning through my back. Why not talk to me? Why assume so much about a person who hasn’t spoken? Someone stand up and use your words! Finally, someone new has come; All the stares and prejudgments can go to her now. I am free.
