Prejudice

The source of prejudice is the unknown.

It's the ignorance, and unwillingness to learn.

It is human nature to fear and despise

what we do not know.

It scares us, and that's alright.

But from that fear

judgment is born

and what we don't know

we seek to destroy and shut down. To silence.

Begone! be anything that is unfamiliar

aliens and the likewise.

let them cease to exist.

But.

Maybe if the bigots and people with prejudice filling their hearts would just

take a look.

They could see the beauty in certain things that they fear.

And come to love as one.
